Step One:  Make good eye contact.

You have to look her in the eyes.  This tells her without the exchange of any words that you are interested in her.  A woman loves a man who can be direct and let her know right away that she interests him.  Making good eye contact is about catching her gaze and holding, but not being too obtrusive.  Look away often but always return to her gaze until you get that welcoming smile.

Step Two: Don’t buy her affection.

If you offer a drink then that is fine, but don’t expect anything in return but a thank you.  You cannot expect to get her attention through spending money on her.

Step Three: Ask her questions.

Let her tell you about her.  Ask her about herself.  Try  to learn about what she likes to do, who she is.  Take it all in.

Step Four: Really listen to her.

This follows step three.  Make sure you just don’t ask questions and then tune out.  Really listen to what she says.  Make sure you reply when appropriate.  Be a part of the conversation.

Step Five: Treat her like you want her to treat you.

This is pretty simple and straightforward.  You want her to treat you well, so do the same to her.  Make sure that you don’t do anything that you would not like to see her do.

Learn Something About Her

Start by watching the girl that you like.  See if you can get a read on what she likes.  Try to find something that you know she likes and use that.  For instance if she enjoys music then you can use music to impress her.

Stay respectful.  Whatever you do, don’t do anything disrespectful.  Really think out what you are going to do and make sure that you are not doing anything to offend her.

Keep It Real

Always be real.  If you tell her that you feel a certain way then you better feel that way.  If you promise her something then follow through.  If you talk big then be ready to back it up.  Being genuine is a trait that girls really appreciate and find attractive.  Being fake only leads to trouble.  She won’t trust you and she probably will not be impressed by you at all.

Humor never is a bad thing when it comes to impressing a girl.  Humor breaks the ice and it adds a bit of fun to the moment.  Keep in mind, though, that you are trying to be mature and not offend anyone with your humor.

Eventually you will realize that you have somehow impressed your girl. If she likes you, wants to be with you and she doesn’t seem to want to leave then you have succeeded in impressing her.  The upside to it all is that you got the girl without making yourself look foolish.  You know that she likes you for just being you and that’s a good start for your relationship.

Her Nervous Approach

When a woman approaches you and strikes up a conversation then it often means that she is interested.  While women enjoy talking, they rarely strike up a conversation with someone they are not interested in.  Listen as she talks, too.  Any stuttering, the use of  ‘ums’ or talking fast indicate she is nervous, which is a tell tale sign she’s into you.  Also look for body language signs like fidgeting or nervous gestures like playing with her hair or chewing her lip.  These things will show she is nervous, too.

Eye Contact And Smile

A non-verbal cue to look for is eye contact and a smile.  If she looks at you or catches you looking at her and she smiles, then she is digging you.  When you are talking if she smiles a lot then that is a good sign, too.  Laughing is another sign.  When she’s talking to you or around you and she is laughing very loudly or animated then she wants you to notice her.

Shy Girl

Some girls may actually avoid eye contact if they like you.  This is tricky because avoiding eye contact can go either way.  If she likes you then you will catch her gaze but she may look away fast.

Girls usually will let you know they like you.  They will want to be around you and they will make an effort to talk to you.  If you start noticing a particular girl being around more often then chances are she likes you.

Be Yourself

The first trick to flirting is to be yourself.  Don’t try to be outgoing if you are shy.  Don’t be someone you are not because it will show and you will come off as fake which is a huge turn off.

You can flirt in a couple ways.  You can start talking to her or you can be subtle and start with simple eye contact.  Try to catch her gaze.  Smile and then subtly look away.  You will often get a cue from her to come over and chat her up.

Listen And Share

Talking is a big part of flirting.  Once you do start talking, make sure that you listen more than you talk.  Don’t be a bump on a log, though.  Share some things about yourself and do not be afraid to give full answers to her questions and comment on what she is saying.  If you find an awkward silence pops up then throw her a compliment, but keep it sincere.  She will know if it is not real.  The conversation you have will really set the tone of things between you.  It is the time when she is judging whether you are worth her time or not.  Be yourself and be real.  This is the best way to impress her.

More than anything else, to be successful at flirting you need to be confident.  Don’t confuse confident with cocky, though.  Be sure of yourself and don’t be self conscious.  Women like a man who is secure in himself.  In some cases, that is all you need to do to attract a woman and flirting easily follows.
