Usually when we meet a nice guy we are so caught up in not being too desperate, too nice or too whatever. We start playing those common little games that only end up making everyone confused. Many times our little games chase the good guys away.

Meeting guys does not have to be so hard. We only make it that way. The better approach is to figure out what makes you attractive and use that to make guys want you, not stupid games that really don’t work anyway.

Think Like a Man

It is time to start changing the way you think about attracting men. You cannot come into the situation thinking like a woman. You have to think like a man. You need to get into his head.

The truth is, my dear, if you keep failing with every man then chances are that they are not the problem. You see what I’m saying? Yeah, you are the problem. It is the way you are acting and approaching the situation. So, change this and you will start to see your whole love life change.

First Impressions

With men first impressions really are everything. Men make snap judgments. They are very visual beings, more so than women. They will usually access you within the first few minutes of meeting you, so make sure that your first impression is perfect.

You need to show him that you are attractive. Always look your best when you are out trying to find a man. Make sure that you feel good about yourself. Confidence is the number one accessory and you should never be without it.

You want a guy to feel your confidence. Be sure that you are on your game and that you know you look good. Remove all self doubt. This will create a very strong and long lasting first impression.

Make it Last

Once you have attracted a good guy you need to work to keep him. One of the top things that men look for in a woman is unpredictability. They don’t want you to be crazy, but they want you to keep them guessing – in a good way.

Don’t’ tell him your life story in the first conversation. Leave him wanting to know more. Leave him hanging a little so he has to ask you out again if he wants to know more. Create the air of mystery about you and you will find him chasing after you.

Do Some Weeding

Of course, every guy you meet is not going to be a good guy. This is where your good judgment comes in. You need to be honest with yourself about the guys you meet. If you really are not into a guy then cut him loose. If you unsure then get to know him a bit more without getting too serious and then make a final decision.

Good guys are out there and you can attract them. You just have to get rid of your old bad habits. You have to start looking at dating differently. You need to be more selective. You have control here. All it takes is just a little effort and you can reel in your dream guy.

Sign One: Watch His Eyes.

The eyes are the window to the soul or so the saying goes.  There is truth in it, though.  You can tell a lot about a man by watching his eyes.  If he makes eye contact then he is probably interested.  He may look away, but if his eyes seem to keep coming back to you then you know for sure.  Make eye contact back and give him a little smile.  He will get the hint.

Sign Two: Look For Nervousness

Nerves always seem to be a giveaway sign.  If he fidgets, appears nervous or he shows some nervous habit then chances are he is liking you.  This is the perfect time to open up and to start a conversation.

Sign Three: How He Acts During a Conversation

When you are talking you need to watch how he responds.  If he is interested in you then he will be really listening.  He will want to hear about you.  If he seems to be ignoring everyone else around you and is focused only on you then he is interested.  Make sure to show you are interested by doing the same to him.

Sign Four: Teasing

While it may be very juvenile, men can’t help but use teasing when flirting.  If he teases you then you know he is interested.  Tease him back.  This playful banter will eventually lead to more.

Sign Five: Watch His Body

If he is moving closer to you or otherwise trying to make contact with you then he is interested.  Reciprocate.  Move towards him.  Make contact.

Does He Need to Change?

If you have any thoughts about him needing to change, whether it is physical or some trait he has, then he is not the right guy.  You should know by now that you cannot change a guy.  Don’t waste your time on a guy who is not what you want out of the gate.

Do You Feel You Have to Put on an Act?

Have you ever met a guy and you feel like you have to put on some fake personality or fake image to impress him?  If you ever feel like you cannot be completely yourself then move on.  It is not worth your time to play a part to be with someone.

Can you Talk to Him?

While nervousness and awkwardness is normal when you first meet someone, you really should click with a guy right away.  If you cannot seem to find something to talk about then chances are you never will.

Do you Feel Like you Have to Feed his Ego?

If a guy comes off as being needy then say goodbye.  You don’t want to spend a whole relationship trying to beef up his ego.  If he talks only about himself and seems self centered then let him live happily ever after with himself.  He probably doesn’t need you or anyone since nobody could love him more than he loves himself.

1. Lorena Bobbitt.  Don’t pretend that you don’t remember her.  The wife with an attitude who went at her husbands member with a knife.  Trust me, most men will remember her and they will run if they see you portraying her.  Men just don’t find humor in severed penises.

2. A man.  While it may be possibly for a select few women to pull off a man costume, most women will simply freak men out.  A man doesn’t want to kiss someone dressed like a man even if they are not a man.  It is just plain weird, costume or not.

3. Any costume that needs explanation.  If you need to keep telling people what you are dressed as it will get old fast.  Most guys are looking to have fun and not spend all night with a chick wearing a costume that makes no sense.

4. Aileen Wuornos.  Many people think that dressing up as a serial killer is tons of fun, but skip dressing like this infamous female serial killer.  Men just are not turned on by a woman who would kill them without thinking twice.

5. Any costume that makes you look trashy.  Unless you are going for that trashy look, skip any costume that crosses the line from sexy to trashy.  Even on Halloween men want a woman who they can respect and nobody can respect a 30 something woman who has her butt cheeks hanging out all night.

There are plenty of great Halloween costumes on the market.  Just skip any that fit into the five above bad costume choices.  Be creative and sexy, but choose wisely so you don’t turn men off instead of turning them on.

Smile

A smile that is inviting and includes eye contact will show him that you like what you see.  Don’t be too over zealous with it, though.  Too much eye contact can just seem creepy.

Give Him a Call

If you don’t talk to him a lot on the phone, then just occasionally give him a call for no good reason except that you want to chat.  Let him know you were thinking about him and that you wanted to hear his voice.  Again, don’t do this too often or you may earn the nickname, Stalker Chick.

Listen When He Talks

Really listen when he talks.  Make sure that he knows you are tuned into what he is saying.  Ask questions and give feedback.  If you take the time to listen then that will mean a lot to him.

Touch Him Gently

Now I am not saying grab his rear!  Use gentle touching like laying your hand on his arm.  Contact will get his attention.  Usually if you can make that connection physically he will get the hint that you are interested.

Don’t Do the Same Things to Other Guys

If you want to confuse him then by all means go around flirting with other guys.  However, if you are serious then don’t do these things to other guys.  When he sees you act different with him then he will realize that you like him.
