Having trouble keeping a girlfriend?  Do you always feel like you are chasing women away?  What are you doing wrong?  Don’t be too hard on yourself, hon, every guy has a time when they cannot seem to get this relationship thing to work.

I am here to offer some friendly, female, advice to help you learn what you may be doing wrong.  I want to help you see what behaviors are chasing those women away, so you can stop them and finally hang onto a woman, even turn her on so much that she thinks of you every night before she goes to sleep and every morning when she wakes up.

Attract, Don’t Annoy

The key to keeping a woman is to learn to attract her and not annoy her.  This starts with learning some misconceptions about women and what they want.

Many men think that women want a clingy guy.  They want someone to dote on them and be ever present in their life.  While there may be some truth to this, there is such a thing as too much devotion.  Some things that could annoy her more than attract her include:

• Calling too much

• Spilling your feelings too early

• Letting her call all the shots

• Constantly asking her how she feels

Calling Too Much

When you are constantly calling, emailing to texting her, you will eventually drive her crazy.  Remember that you are not the only thing going on in her life.  She doesn’t have time to always be talking to you.

Not only does too much contact annoy her, but it can also send her the message that you are just too needy.  She may start to think that you need this constant contact and that may make her feel smothered.

Back off and give her some room.  Let her contact you from time to time.  Save up everything you have to say so when you do talk, the conversation has meaning and purpose.

Spilling Your Feelings Too Early

Women are often guilty of this, but some guys are too.  When you start saying you love her after two dates it send up a red flag.  Simply put you will scare her to death and make her want to run far away.

Being too emotional, too soon tells her you are the type of guy that becomes obsessed easily.  She will start to wonder if you really do care about her or if you just don’t want to be alone.  She will always question your feelings and that is no good for the long run.

Letting Her Call All the Shots

Some women love to be in charge, but most women still like to let the man be in charge.  The women’s movement didn’t fully penetrate into relationships.  Women still want to know their man is there to protect them and that they can follow him.

When you become too submissive you become weak in her eyes.  No woman I know wants a weak man.  Don’t surrender completely to her.  Call the shots sometimes.  Let her call the shots sometimes.  Make it a partnership.

Constantly Asking Her How She Feels

I know understanding women is hard.  We are not always easy to figure out.  However, that does not mean that you should keep asking her how she feels.  Take some initiative man!

You can figure out how she feels without her having to tell you.  When you just keep asking it shows her that you really are not in tune with her feelings and can make her doubt the connection between you.

These things are sure fire ways to kill a relationship.  Don’t believe every myth you have heard about women and what they want.  Be yourself.  Be a man.  Make her want you by not playing the role of the wuss.
