Celebrations are never easy for men in relationships; there is always the possibility that the happy day will end in tears because they failed to provide the perfect gift for their women. Because of this pressure, you might find yourself at the last minute without any gift, because you simply could not decide what would be just right for her. I am giving you the benefit of the doubt here by assuming that you were not just plain lazy.

Before you can look for the perfect way to celebrate, first take the time to understand what women appreciate in a gift; the effort. A woman likes to feel cherished. She likes to know that you spent time thinking about how to make her happy. And that’s how she will judge everything you do. Fortunately, even at the last minute, you can still pull off great ideas that will make her feel as if you had been planning it for years, just to wow her.

1. Full day at the spa. Don’t just give her a gift certificate, it will not do it. but instead, find out when she is free in the coming days, or go discreetly out of your way to free her day, then make reservation on that day for her. Get a blank card and write down why you think she deserve a day at the spa, praise her, finish by mentioning in some way that you made sure she was free so that she could really be pampered. Give her the card with breakfast in bed. To really impress her, send her with her best friend.

2. Send a scrapbook by mail. Not just any scrapbook. By a huge notebook and start a project. Fill in the first pages with some shared memories. Then a new date, the day you are celebrating for example, but don’t finish it. On the first page, dedicate the book to your life together and let her know you hope you will fill it together with many memories. Wrap the book and send it by mail to her, especially if you both live together.

3. Chick flick party for her an the girls. Is there a movie or TV series she always wanted to watch but hasn’t come around to it yet? Get her girlfriends on board and organize a night for her and the girls. take care of everything, it doesn’t have to be too much, just make sure she and her friends will enjoy what you provide. You don’t have to stay after the party start, but you will be the talk of the night.

4.Give her the key to you heart. Send her at the office a series of four small gifts with specific messages. For example, first send her a chocolate heart because her heart is so beautiful to you. Second send her a question mark because you hope you have her heart. Third send her a key because it belongs to her. Finally, send her a box that she can open with the key, inside you heart, because you love her.

5. Do something for her mom. Has she being talking about something she has to do for her mom but hasn’t been able to get to it? Go ahead and do. Go out of your way and make sure her mom is taken care for, but don’t tell her. She will find out soon enough and because you were humble about it, you will score higher.
