This site, as the name suggests, is aimed towards black singles.  It was created to be a place specifically for black singles to find people in their area to meet and date.

This site has a matching system and quite a few nice quiz type features that allow you to really give a lot of information about yourself and learn a lot about others.  It doesn’t completely rely in the traditional profiles, but rather all the information gathered from these quizzes and questionnaires to help match members up.

BlackSingles.com also offers instant messaging and message boards.  The site also states that it is not just for black singles – everyone is welcome.

You can sign up for free and add your profile to the site and take the quizzes and such to add to your profile.  There was not a lot of information about the difference between a free and paid membership, but it did give membership prices.  The basic rate for one month is $9.99 when purchased one month at a time.

BlackSingles.com is a good overall site.  It is user friendly and really offers the ability to provide a lot of information about yourself so your profile can really tell who you are.  The only limitation is that the name suggests it is for black singles only so the number of singles of varied racial backgrounds may be limited
