There are many things you want to know about a guy that you are dating.  Even on a blind date you want to feel the guy out and try to get to know if he would be someone you would like to see again.  There are some great questions that you can ask your blind date that will be very revealing.  By asking the right questions you can get to know him without making it feel like you are giving him the third degree.

Take some cues from this list as to what to ask and how to ask it:

To find out about his past relationships, ask him to tell you about his best relationship.  This will let you get to the question about how it ended.  After all, if his best relationship ended bad then that doesn’t say much about how the others ended.

To find out about his likes and dislikes, as him about his favorite movie.  A favorite movie choice can reveal a lot because many people gravitate to movies that share their values and ideas.

To find out about his general feelings towards relationship ask about his family.  You can find out about his relationship with his mom which is very telling.  See if his siblings are married.  These sorts of things give you a lot of insight.

Your Goals

Your goals when asking questions is to get insight without being too direct.  You don’t want to make him feel like you are drilling with questions.  You don’t want to overwhelm him.  Take it easy and be friendly.  Make it conversational.  You can learn a lot just by asking the rights questions.
