Giving the right gift is never easy, but when you are trying to find a meaningful gift for your boyfriend it can be even harder.  What can complicate things further is if he is the kind of person who already has everything they would want.  For a situation like this you have to think outside the box.

Charm His Taste buds

What guy doesn’t love food?  Whip him up something he will love.  When you make food, you know it is something he doesn’t have and when you make it yourself, you are going that extra mile to show him how much he means to you.

Get Crafty

I’m not talking a dorky project like you would have made your mom in elementary school.  Put together a digital picture frame with pictures of you or you and him together.  Make him a t shirt or pillowcase with your picture on it.  Make him something he can use and enjoy.

Do It Old School

Make him a “mix tape”.  Put together a play list for his mp3 player or burn a CD for him to listen to in the car.  Make it some of his favorites mixed in with some songs you know will remind him of you.

Coupons

I am sure there are a lot of things he begs you to do that you usually say no to.  Treat him to a coupon book full of coupons to use for some of his favorite things, such as a back rub or a Sunday of football with a promise not to bug him

These ideas are just a start.  You really have to get creative and start looking beyond the obvious.  Don’t go shopping the store.  Instead look inside your heart to find the perfect gift for your guy.
