Being cheated on is one of the worst things that can happen in a relationship.  If you have been cheated on before then chances are you will try to look for a guy who won’t cheat.  How do you know a cheater from someone who won’t cheat?  It’s not always simple, but you can do it by watching for tell tale signs.

Sign #1: Was he seeing other women when you got together?  While you may like that he gave them up for you, it could just be a sign he is going through a phase where he thinks he wants to settle down.  Soon, though, he will likely want to play the field again.  He will crave that excitement and that is when he will cheat.

Sign #2: Has he ever told you about a friend that is cheating or do you think he would?  Guys that cheat pretty much never tell on other cheaters.  This is a good sign to watch for.

Sign #3: What does he consider cheating?  This is very important.  If he cannot draw a very distinct line between what is cheating and what is not or if you do not agree on what constitutes cheating then watch out.

The reality is that you just never know if someone will cheat or not.  These signs are good indicators, though, because they will let you see what is in his mind and give you an idea of how he feels about cheating.  A guy who doesn’t think cheating is a big deal is someone who will cheat on you in the future.
